Do You Need Continuing Support?

No one should deal with addiction alone. So, if you answer yes to any of the following challenges in your treatment, we can help:

  • Are you entering into, or are currently in, an inpatient program that prescribes buprenorphine along with treatment and want to make sure you have an aftercare program that will continue your buprenorphine treatment?
  • Are you moving to the Chicagoland area and are looking for a buprenorphine doctor or suboxone program?
  • Are you currently prescribed buprenorphine and are looking for an outpatient treatment program that prescribes buprenorphine?

Our Approach to Care Continuity

Medically-assisted treatment combined with therapy and counseling is proven to be more effective than counseling alone. But, many people have trouble getting this treatment upon leaving an inpatient or residential program. Brightside Recovery can provide the support you need.

Initial Visit

Our initial visit is to confirm your current treatment plan and properly continue your treatment program with our Suboxone® doctors. At the first visit, you will meet one of our doctors and their recovery team, complete the necessary paperwork, and line up any therapy/counseling you might need. If your medication needs a pre-authorization, our staff works with your insurance to transfer and continue your prescription with us.

Maintenance

Our continuation programs can last from six months to a lifetime depending on your prior dependence and long term goals. At Brightside Recovery, we continue to monitor and manage the medication on a monthly basis. During this phase of treatment, we recommend and offer CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and counseling.

Tapering

When someone is ready to reduce the prescribed medication, we work as a team with therapists and counselors and partners to develop a taper program that will ensure a comfortable, successful completion of your treatment. Our philosophy is to carefully and slowly taper your medication to ensure stability and success.

Ongoing Support

Even after medication-assisted treatment is completed, we are always here to continue supporting you throughout your recovery journey. Our peer support and counseling programs are always available to you, ensuring you have the support you need to succeed.
